Looking best of you is quite harder during the winter season because your skin gets dry due to rapid heat loss from your body and your most of the part of your body covered in thick clothes. Also, low temperature and low humidity of air make skin dry by taking moisture out of it all the time. Lips get dried, hair get dandruff and skin get dried which make you look messy. Although, by taking good care of your body, we could look as beautiful as usual or even more. There are some things to keep in mind to look best of you in the winter season.
Here are some tips which would lead you to look beautiful during the winter season:
1.) Healthy lifestyle during winter
Healthy is directly related to your look. If we are healthy we look good else we look bad. So, we must take a good care of yourself especially in winter season. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is harder than any other season. Simultaneously, it is very important too. Your body loses more calories in the form of heat which makes us weak and look unhealthy. By following some tips, we could easily maintain a healthy lifestyle in winter. Some important tips are;
a) Drink plenty of water
Moisture does come from water, Right? Usually, we need to drink 8-10 glasses of water per day to be hydrated all the time but during cold, we lose most of your body water by moisturizing the skin. Your body keeps your skin moisturized all the time and lose a bigger amount of water than we imagine. This is why we should drink two-three additional glasses of water. Warm water is recommended because it prevents your body losing extra calories in producing heat energy. If you don’t like drinking water then you may consider drinking milk, juices or other drinkable fluids (including beer) instead.
b) Do yoga and exercises
Doing yoga and exercises activate the extra potential of your body. It helps your body to fight with cold and produce moisture for a healthy skin internally. Furthermore, prefer indoor exercises on outdoor exercises. Doing yoga is the best in the winter season. For example, you can do different breathing exercises and yoga posture for a healthy body. Jogging for a short period of time is also good for health in the winter season.
c) Eat well
Take foods with a more omega3 fatty acid like fish, nuts, and seeds. Include foods with vitamin C and fiber in your diet. Foods like citrus fruits and juices, such as orange and grapefruit, kiwi fruit, mango, papaya, pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cranberries are the great source of the vitamin C and barley, oatmeal, beans, nuts, and fruits such as apples, berries, citrus fruits, and pears are great source fiber. Fiber helps control blood sugar levels and reduce cholesterol.
d) Enjoy the season
Do not give up your hobbies and social life to protect yourself from cold. Your hobbies and social life far more important than losing some calories. So, enjoy your life in winter like you do all around the year. These things will keep you healthy psychologically which is important for any season of the year.
2.) Take a good care of your skin and hair
The most affected parts of your body from cold are hair and skin. In order to take good care of hair and skin. Some important tips for these to take good care are;

In the winter season, outdoor humidity drops down and effect directly to your skin. By applying appropriate moisturizer cream to your skin will protect and makes you look beautiful. While choosing moisturizer cream be choose oily cream if your skin is not oil by nature or use water-based moisturizer creams. Usually, thicker creams are oil based and vice-versa. Additionally, use a lip-guard to protect your lips from cracking and use chapstick make it more beautiful.
b) Apply coconut oil to your hair
Your hair gets dandruff in winter season which causes it to look bluer. To prevent your hair to look messy, we should wash and apply coconut oil regularly. Use shampoo to clean hair and use coconut oil. Coconut oil doesn’t just smells good but also have many health benefits. It has enough vitamin E which helps to control dandruff, contains auric acid which slows down the hair loss and has coats which make your hair strong and shiny.
c) Use humidifier in your house
For a healthy skin humidity of the air around us should be between 40-50% but during the winter season it drops down to 20-25% which makes your environment similar to a cold and dry desert. To maintain humidity we can use a humidifier. It keeps necessary humidity in your living space. Use humidifier especially during the night.

Winter season brings cold and to protect yourselves from cold we need to wear more. Tips to dress well in winter are;
a) Dress clothes in layer
In place of wearing a very thick clothe wear different clothes by layering them. It is a better style for clothing with fashion. For example, wear a T-shirt first then wear a sweater and wear jeans with a nice boot makes you look good and also protect from deadly cold.
b) Find a nice coat and hat
Coats and hats are very important clothes in the overall look. Wearing a nice coat and hat will make you look beat version of you and protect you from the cold at the same time. Be sure that your hat and coat color matches each other. Dark color for coat and hat is attractive.
c) Select a good quality shoe
Boots are must to look good. So, choose a nice shoe, it could be higher or low. The color of shoes should be darker with suitable laces on it. Also, make sure your hand and other open parts of your body are in good condition.
